Who we are
Farm Seasons is run by Charlie Broddle, a sole trader based in England, who is the data controller for this website. Contact: [email protected].
Farm listings
We publish business details about farms: name, address, phone number, website and what the farm offers. For farms run by sole traders or partnerships, some of this can be personal data.
- Sources: public business listings and the farm’s own website.
- Lawful basis: legitimate interests (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)): helping the public find seasonal farm visits, which also benefits the farms. We only publish business contact details the farm itself has made public.
- Your rights: you can ask us to correct, update or remove a listing at any time using our corrections form. You can also object to us using your data. We act on removal requests within 30 days at most.
- When we contact a farm about its listing, we also tell it where we got its details and how to opt out.
Website visitors
- Analytics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn’t use cookies or track you across sites.
- Hosting: the site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the site securely.
- Maps: the map loads tiles from OpenFreeMap, which receives your IP address when tiles load.
- Forms: if you send us a form or email, we use what you send only to reply and to update listings. We keep it for up to 2 years unless it forms part of a listing. Forms on this site are delivered to us by Formspree, which processes the details you submit on our behalf.
- Advertising: we don’t show ads yet. If we add them, we’ll update this notice and ask for your consent first where the law requires it.
Your rights and complaints
You can ask for access to, correction of or deletion of your personal data, and you can object to our use of it. Contact us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
